Welcome to Locker Soccer Training (formerly Second Nature Soccer/Sports) weekly training plans. The weekly training plans feature many of the same activities that we use every day in our academy. Our training plans were developed with input from leading childhood development and behavior specialists and Steve Locker. Steve Locker was a collegiate head coach for 16 years, spending seven of those years at Harvard University where he won 2 Ivy League titles. He has also worked extensively with A.C. Milan in Italy and holds a professional coaching license from Germany. Prior to starting Locker Soccer Academy, he spent 10 years on the Academy coaching staff with the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Thanks for subscribing!
To a parent, a typical Locker Soccer Training session might just look like fun and games but behind every aspect of each practice session a childhood development and soccer expert played a role in creating a program designed to bolster your teams/child’s physical health, nurture their confidence and self-esteem all while having fun. Each training session builds on the previous. Each helping your team/child to grow.
Each weekly training plan offers a different theme and covers the five main parts of a practice session:
- Warm-Up activity
- Stretching program
- Soccer Skill activity
- Running activity
- A Final FUN game
Have a question about a specific drill? Motivating your kids? Or even certain behaviors you are witnessing during practice or games? Speak with one of our academy coaches or Steve, himself, via our live chat app on our website and let us use our years of combined expert soccer experience help you become a better coach and take your team to the next level.
